Paul Erickson
A Classical Guitarist in Everett, Washington
Intro
Paul has been a guitarist for more than 50 years. The last decade or so has been spent pursuing the study of classical guitar music. Some things are done just for the daily practice and joy that can be had and shared with others.
If you live in Everett, Washington, it's possible you might have heard Paul at a park, a nursing home, a senior home, a farmers market, restaurant, bar, or community event. If you live elsewhere, you might be one of thousands of listeners on spotify who listen to Paul's music from around the globe.
Paul's work has included studying classical composers, learning to perform music by famous composers, and scoring and recording new compositions in classical styles of Etudes, Waltzes and Sonatas.
Some of his favorite composers include J.S. Bach, Matteo Carcassi, and Francisco Tarrega. Classical Guitarsts have contemporary heros too. Not Eddie Van Halen or Jimi Hendrix, but names like John Williams, Andre Segovia, and Julian Bream. If you'd like to hear Paul's work, it can be found on most major streaming services like Spotify.
If you would like to learn to play his guitar works, the music can be found at Sheet Music Plus and Hal Leonard Sheet Music Direct.
